We are seeking a Business Development Specialist with experience in international development and donor-funded projects to support opportunity tracking, proposal preparation, and partnerships with global institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and track opportunities with UN agencies, World Bank, regional development banks, INGOs, and donor procurement portals (e.g., UNGM, Devex, NGO portals).

  • Support preparation of expressions of interest, pre-qualification documents, and donor-funded project proposals.

  • Assist in partnership building, outreach, and teaming with international consulting firms and NGOs.

  • Draft sections of proposals including corporate capabilities, past performance, and staff CVs.

  • Monitor donor funding priorities, calls for proposals, and pipeline opportunities.

  • Support the creation of concept notes, capability statements, and presentations for international clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in business development, proposal support, or donor engagement in the humanitarian and international development sector.

  • Familiarity with UN, World Bank, INGO, and other donor procurement processes.

  • Preferably experienced in management consulting firms or contributing to international development project proposals.

  • Excellent writing, research, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across teams in a deadline-driven environment.
