Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultant – Roster of Experts

NEXSOZ LLC is a management consulting firm specializing in data analytics, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), digital transformation, project & program management, and strategy & operational support. We work with U.S. government agencies, multilateral donors, UN agencies, NGOs, and international organizations to design and implement evidence-based solutions that improve program effectiveness and impact.

As part of our preparation for upcoming opportunities, we are establishing a Roster of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultants to engage on a project-by-project basis. Selected consultants will be considered for short-term and long-term assignments aligned with their expertise.

Scope of Work

M&E Consultants will support assignments in one or more of the following areas:

  • Designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks.

  • Developing results frameworks, theories of change, performance indicators, and data collection tools.

  • Conducting baseline, midline, and endline assessments.

  • Leading or contributing to evaluations, performance reviews, and impact assessments.

  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, producing dashboards, and generating evidence-based insights.

  • Preparing high-quality evaluation reports, learning briefs, and donor-facing presentations.

  • Supporting capacity-building for client teams on M&E methods, tools, and systems.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in social sciences, public policy, economics, statistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in M&E, preferably in international development or humanitarian programs.

  • Demonstrated experience with donor-funded projects (e.g., USAID, World Bank, UN agencies, EU, or INGOs).

  • Strong technical skills in MEL design, data collection, and analysis (qualitative and quantitative).

  • Familiarity with tools such as SPSS, Stata, NVivo, Power BI, or similar platforms is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently as a consultant/contractor and deliver within tight deadlines.
