We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager with strong experience in government contracting to lead capture efforts, build partnerships, and drive growth through federal procurement opportunities.
Position Details
Title: Business Development Manager (Government Contracting)
Type: Part-Time, Contract-Based
Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week (flexible; additional hours depending on project needs)
Compensation: Base retainer with commission and performance-based incentives
Location: Remote/flexible

Key Responsibilities
Research and pursue opportunities on SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, and other federal and state procurement portals.
Identify and engage with prime contractors, teaming partners, and federal agencies to build strong pipelines.
Lead capture planning, bid strategy, and competitive analysis for government contracts.
Draft and tailor capability statements, teaming agreements, and marketing materials for federal audiences.
Support leadership in proposal development and compliance reviews.
Monitor federal contracting trends, NAICS/PSC codes, and agency forecasts to identify growth areas.
Qualifications
Proven experience in federal business development, capture management, or government contracting.
Familiarity with U.S. procurement processes, FAR, GSA schedules, and agency acquisition practices.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with government buyers and prime contractors.
Track record of contributing to winning bids and proposals in federal contracting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
