NEXSOZ is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support our business development activities. Working under the supervision of the Business Development Specialist, the Associate will assist with opportunity tracking, proposal preparation, research, and partnership outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Support opportunity tracking and research on government and donor-funded projects
Assist in preparing proposal documents, CVs, and capability statements
Maintain BD trackers, partner databases, and consultant rosters
Help coordinate communication with partners, consultants, and clients
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, meeting notes, and follow-up
Contribute to marketing and outreach activities (website, LinkedIn, emails, etc.)
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in business, international development, or related fields preferred
1–2 years of professional experience (internships, volunteer work, or academic projects also considered)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Good communication and writing ability
Eagerness to learn fundraising and donor-funded business development processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with online collaboration tools is a plus
